Detailed Processess

Assessment: The PDR technician inspects the damaged area, assessing the size, location, and severity of the dent. This evaluation helps determine the feasibility of PDR and provides insight into the appropriate repair techniques.

Accessing the Dent: To access the dent from behind, the technician may remove panels, trim pieces, or utilize specialized tools designed to reach behind the affected area.

Dent Manipulation: Using a combination of PDR rods, hooks, picks, or glue pulling techniques, the technician applies gentle pressure to the dent, skillfully massaging and shaping the metal back to its original form. The technician carefully works on the dent in small increments, gradually improving the damaged area.

Dent Inspection: Throughout the process, the technician frequently inspects the dent’s progress, using lighting tools such as LED boards or line board reflectors to analyze the surface for imperfections. This ensures the dent removal is precise and seamless.

Fine-Tuning: Once the dent is nearly restored, the technician meticulously fine-tunes the area, tapping down high spots or performing additional adjustments to achieve a flawless finish. This step requires attention to detail and a keen eye for symmetry.

If there’s a need for paint, the vehicle and or parts will be sent to the paint shop, our aim is to avoid this step with standard dent removal, although we are equiped with the necessary tools to complete this process if needed.

Reassembly: If any components were removed during the repair process, the technician carefully reassembles the vehicle, ensuring all panels, trims, or parts are securely and correctly reinstalled.
